What the heck is a hatelisting?
A hatelisting is, quite simply, a listing of people who hate a certain subject. So, if you hate weborexia, then you should join this hatelisting!
What the heck is weborexia?
Weborexia is a term coined by Rhiannon, generally referring to dangerously thin websites. Here is a full list of symptoms that appear if a website is suffering from weborexia:
- Tiny, almost unreadable fonts that infringe upon the rights of those with visual impairments. Usually comes with random, uncalled-for bolding, underlining and italicizing of text. Tags like <b>, <u>, <i> and <s> are often styled with different colors and extra text effects.
- Layouts so thin that you could take a screenshot, duplicate, and still fit another whole copy (or two or three!) of the layout next to it on a 1024x768 pixel screen resolution.
- Often times associated with a webmaster that refuses to fatten their layout up to make it readable; therefore breaking international web accessibility laws.
Who runs this hatelisting?
This listing is run by Hannah, a geeky teenager with nothing better to do than create and maintain fanlistings, design websites, and generally geek out.
